The Award of Merit recognizes a dietitian who has demonstrated leadership and made significant contribution to the profession of dietetics through a variety of avenues. The 2019 recipient of the award exemplifies all this and more.
UAND is pleased to recognize Robin Aufdenkampe.
Robin’s many accomplishments cannot be adequately represented in this short biographical introduction. She is the Executive Director of Nutrition Services for Intermountain Healthcare and is currently serving as the immediate Past-President of UAND. She has enjoyed working in the nutrition, education, and the healthcare field for over two decades as a registered dietitian, nutrition services director, university professor, and executive leader. She obtained her undergraduate dietetics degree from Ohio University, a Master of Clinical Nutrition from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, a Masters’ of Healthcare Administration from Northern Arizona University, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
She is an ardent advocate of nutrition, the role nutrition plays in ensuring health and happiness, and sharing the passion for good nutrition. Through her work she aims to maximize health outcomes through high quality nutrition and innovation. She is a Foodie at heart and loves healthy cooking, baking, and entertaining family and friends.
When not fulfilling her professional goals, she can be found on the ski slopes, running rivers, or finding outdoor adventure with her husband and family.
Over her career, Robin has provided outstanding service for her patients, colleagues, the Academy, and our profession.
